Wayne's alarming revelation

I stumbled upon this article of a doctor(Tan Poh Tin) who was giving medical relief to remote villages in Afghanistan.
In actual fact, these villagers need relief from the hurt afflicted on their souls rather than those on their bodies.
I believe that this situation is the same not only in this village, but in many others too.
Throughout the whole article, I envision myself in their situation and my heart just goes out to them.
Imagine today, your parents, siblings and close friends are all massacred by terrorists.
To you, it would probably be the end of the world and you would literally have no life.
The same applies to these fellow brothers ans sisters in the Middle-East.
Time is running out, and the longer it takes, the longer these people suffer.
I thought to myself that countless peace talks and actions are taken, why does nothing seem to work out.
This got me thinking, and I came to a conclusion.

To have peace, the solution is not using political or military powers, but its about changing the hearts of men.
The terrorists first must want to stop fighting before a real peace talk can be conducted.
To the terrorists, no peace treaty or promise they make counts.
With all confidence, I dare say that even if Osama is captured today, there would be many more Osama-wannabes who would probably do even more damage.
Unless the Government and the terrorists can compromise-which I think would not happen-, the two sides would be at war until Armageddon comes.
Put yourself in the shoes of these two groups of people, would you be willing to compromise on your convictions?
I doubt so, and that is why I believe that peace talks hardly ever work out.
Countless peace talks and even peace treaties take place in the Middle-East, but things hardly work out.

On my part, I had decided to be less-racist and always put myself in other's shoes.
Through this small act, I pray that people would be influenced.
