"Emo" have been a popular term used by many to show that they are feeling moody, especially by the secondary school students. From what i have known, some went to the extend to be "emo" purposely just because it was a fad. However being a fad, it only lasted a while. But this fad resulted in many students not be able to get back to their cheerful self after that period of craze was over. Hence they were somehow unable to feel happy from the inner most of the hearts.
As mentioned, this "emo" problem needs a solution urgently so that people could regain the smile that was previously plastered on their faces. Thus this article had provided reasons for people to stay happy and methods to turn the frowns upside down. Indeed, a new fad had just started. Everyone seems to be jumping on the get-happier bandwagon. Many things had implemented happiness into it because positive psychology has shown that happy people thrive. Cheery people is able to make more friends, enjoy better marriages, able to socialise with others better, stay healthier and even outlive their grumpier peers. Hence all the more everybody should stay jubilant as far as possible.
To some, staying happy is no easy task. Others blaming their nature is no surprise too. "I'm not born with a positive mind, so there's nothing i could do about it." That is absolute rubbish I should say. Research had shown that genetics only accounts for, at most, fifty percent of the frowns found on faces. There are still ways able to turn the frowns upside down. Of course, it is not that people cannot feel sad. We are human, and feeling sad when there is a need to is usual, because we have emotions. However, certain amount of sadness may cuts into the happiness quotient, which will result people in feeling miserable.
Actually I think that it is rather ironic to reflect on this article as this problem is common seen among the students of secindary two and secondary three. Although wanting to be happy and unable to happy is two different matter, but people should try their best. Nevertheless, being happy and staying cheerful is not a tough task. As long as everybody puts in effort and tries their best, I am sure that happiness is within their grasp.
